Air Cargo Club of Delhi marks Golden Jubilee with high-profile leadership session

Celebrating a monumental half-century of service to the aviation and logistics industries, the Air Cargo Club of Delhi (ACCD) successfully hosted a special interactive Lunch Session on 8th July 2026 at the Radisson Hotel in Mahipalpur, New Delhi, according to a release. The milestone gathering was organised as a key part of the club’s ongoing Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking 50 glorious years of ACCD’s operations from 1977 to 2026.

The highlight of the celebratory session was an engaging, fireside-style interaction featuring Mr Vipin Vohra, a prominent industry veteran and Past President of ACCD. Delivering a highly insightful address titled “From Vision to Transformation: A Journey Through Logistics Leadership,” Mr Vipin Vohra shared heartfelt reflections from his long career in the logistics and air cargo sectors. He captivated the audience by weaving personal anecdotes with critical leadership lessons, creating an inspiring narrative of perseverance, strategic vision, and industrial transformation.

Mapping Infrastructure and Air Freight Stations

Beyond historical reflections, the leadership session focused heavily on upcoming operational advancements in India’s aviation logistics infrastructure. A major portion of the technical discussion centred on the fast-evolving role of Air Freight Stations (AFS).

The industry panel explored three primary areas of growth:

* Infrastructure Strengthening: Utilising localised Air Freight Stations to offload cargo congestion at major airport gateways.

* Operational Efficiency: Streamlining Customs clearances and cargo consolidation well away from crowded runway zones.

* Trade Facilitation: Unlocking cheaper, faster and more secure transit routes for regional exporters and global supply chain networks.

The landmark event brought together a large delegation of senior industry leaders, seasoned members of the air cargo fraternity, multimodal logistics professionals and supply chain stakeholders. The afternoon concluded with an expansive networking session, allowing participants to exchange operational ideas while celebrating ACCD’s remarkable 50-year legacy of uniting and elevating India’s air cargo sector, said the release.
