SAS returns to India after 17 years connecting Copenhagen and Mumbai from Oct.

SAS, Scandinavia’s leading airline with main hubs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, has announced that all operational and practical preparations are in place, and flights are now officially ready for take-off between India and Scandinavia. Starting October 1, 2026, SAS reconnects Scandinavia and India with a non-stop year-round route between Copenhagen and Mumbai.

Operating five times weekly with an Airbus A330, the route marks SAS’ return to India after 17 years. The new service strengthens Copenhagen Airport’s role as a major international gateway, offering smooth connections to key SAS European and long-haul destinations, including New York, Boston and Toronto.
