Europe’s primary annual gathering for digital commerce and logistics, the EU Cross-Border E-commerce Forum (EU CBEC) 2026, is scheduled to take place at the Palais des Congrès de Liège, Belgium, from September 8-10, 2026. Organised under Liège Airport’s “CARGOLAND” initiative, the three-day event has achieved a major milestone by surpassing 1,000 registered attendees three months ahead of its opening date—marking the largest pre-registration volume in the Forum’s history. The surging attendance numbers reflect the strategic positioning of Liège Airport (LGG) as Europe’s fifth-largest cargo airport and a dedicated hub for major e-commerce flows from global giants like Alibaba, Amazon, Temu and Shein. Registrations for the 2026 edition span more than 300 international companies, including 60 cargo airlines, over 100 specialised freight forwarders and numerous cross-border retail shippers. Centred around the theme “Freight meets Magic,” the forum will host 53 international speakers, as per a report.
