Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) – Hong Kong’s largest independent handler – has been named “Best Global Air Cargo Terminal” and “Best Sustainable Air Cargo Terminal” at this year’s Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain (AFLAS) Awards, while its added-value logistics subsidiary Hong Kong Air Cargo Industry Services Limited (Hacis) received the “Best Logistics Service Provider – Warehousing” title.
The annual AFLAS awards recognise leadership, consistency in service quality, innovation, customer-relationship management and reliability among leading industry service providers – including airlines, ocean lines, airports and seaports, as well as professionals engaged in the industry.
Receiving the awards at a gala ceremony held at the St Regis on the Bund in Shanghai, Hactl Chief Executive Frosti Lau said: “This year has been particularly special for us at Hactl as we celebrate our 50th anniversary. My entire team and I are delighted to accept these three prestigious awards, which recognise our ongoing commitment to excellence and to setting new standards in all areas of the air cargo handling industry.”
