The six Adani-operated PPP (Private Public Partnership) international airports have shown a 19% increase in freight handling – both domestic and international – between April and December 2025 versus the same period last year, data from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) shows. Ahmedabad topped the chart with a 29.7% increase and even crossed the one lakh tonne mark. Other than Ahmedabad, the group operates Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Jaipur, Guwahati and Mangaluru airports. AAI awarded the six airports for Operations, Management and Development under PPP for a period of 50 years in 2020-2021. In the first nine months of this fiscal year, except for Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru airports, the rest showed growth versus the previous year, as per a report.
