Chandigarh’s Shaheed Bhagat Singh International (SBSI) Airport now has a direct daily flight to another destination in the UAE — Abu Dhabi — after Dubai. The first flight to Abu Dhabi departed from the airport with 173 passengers on board at 2.45 am. The first arrival from there with 83 passengers touched down at 3.04 am. With the launch of the Abu Dhabi service, the airport has now become operational round the clock, said a report.
