The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has given a one-month extension to the airports in Kerala for the process of converting CUDCT (Common User Domestic Cargo Terminal) to RA (regulated agent) mode.
In RA mode, all operations of the air cargo terminal should be carried out by a single entity.
The Kerala Exporters Forum had sought the state government’s intervention in postponing a notice from BCAS asking airport cargo operators to migrate to the RA concept before April 30, 2023, as per a report.
