Zhengzhou Aviation Port achieves milestone with 10,000 intl cargo flights

Zhengzhou Aviation Port achieved a major milestone by exceeding 10,000 international cargo flights, becoming the first in central China to do so, marking a significant surge (nearly 50% year-over-year) and solidifying its role as a key global air cargo hub, especially with its expanding routes to Europe, the US and Asia. This growth reflects strong momentum, with the airport also seeing increased passenger traffic and developing dual-hub models, like the Zhengzhou-Luxembourg route, to further boost its international logistics network. The airport surpassed a nearly 50% increase from the previous year. Zhengzhou is building an international air cargo hub connecting Europe, the US and Asia, adding new all-cargo routes. This achievement underscores its strong development and its strategic importance as a major air logistics centre in China. The continuous expansion of routes and capacity aims to establish it as a leading global air cargo hub, part of the Air Silk Road initiative, as per a report.
