Luxembourg Airport has selected Nallian to implement a cargo community system (CCS) in order to offer a neutral data sharing platform for businesses based at the hub.
The airport said that the CCS represented an important component of the Luxembourg Single Window for Logistics programme and will be open to all actors involved in international trade.
The CCS will enable real-time capturing and sharing of granular information regarding shipment processing, to “better plan and execute” processes and “drive efficiency and visibility with in-depth insights in performance”.
The first phase of the roll out will cover perishable and live animal shipments. The CCS will later be rolled out to all types of cargo. The aim is to foster the competitiveness and further growth of Luxembourg as a European multimodal logistics hub, according to a report.
