LUFTHANSA, the Ger-man airline, has announced the introduction of two new routes – Munich to Bengaluru and Frankfurt to Hyderabad. Flights on the Munich-Beng-aluru route will be operated three times a week, with the first flight scheduled in early November 2023. The Frank-furt-Hyderabad flights will also commence in the winter. These flights represent the first new routes in the Asia-Pacific for the Group. A Luf-thansa statement said that the expansion underlines its long-term vision to strength-en its footprint in the Indian market which has massive growth potential. The airline is also interested to be repre-sented in the country’s MRO (maintenance, repair and op-erations) segment, as per a report.
