The Customs Broker Association, Hyderabad has announced the launch of an import courier terminal to facilitate faster processing and import clearance of courier import cargo. It informed in a release that this happy occasion was graced by:

GHAC Terminal is a 24×7 import handling facility equipped with world class security screening and state-of-the-art cargo handling systems. To ensure a seamless process, Customs clearance and quicker turnaround of courier import consignments, GHAC currently handles over 120 metric tonnes (MT) per month of export courier. With the addition of the new facility, it is expected to handle a larger volume of cargo, reaching 150 MT per month of import courier. This will help the trade in terms of courier imports and boost the e-commerce business through large volumes across the region.
Mr T. Abhimanyu, President of Customs Broker Association, Hyderabad along with Mr M. N. Kiran & Mr Syed Jameel, Association office-bearers, expressed confidence that this facility would propel their cargo business and help the trade to reduce dwell time. The Association is also discussing with courier companies to generate more business volumes to the Hyderabad sector, the release added.
