All-cargo carrier Cargolux is celebrating 50 years of operations which, since its establishment in 1970, have seen it expand to become one of the leading freight-only operators in Europe and seventh on IATA’s global ranking based on international scheduled FTKs.

To mark its 50th anniversary, Cargolux branded its LX-VCC 747-8 freighter with anniversary livery and the words ‘Spirit of Cargolux’. Other aircraft in Cargolux’s fleet also received commemorative emblems to highlight the milestone, a report said.
