ACCM Annual Ball 2024 in Chennai an event to remember

The Air Cargo Club of Madras (ACCM) organised its Annual Ball 2024 on March 9 at Feathers Hotel, Chennai. The event commenced in a rousing manner with Tamil Thaai Vaazhlthu, followed by the lighting of the lamp by Hon. Advisors Mr Suresh and Mr Arun along with Mrs Rajakumari Venkat, Mrs Sunitha Gopi and Mrs Krishnaveni Ramesh. Welcoming the members and guests, ACCM President Mr G. Balasubramanian reiterated the key objective of the Club – to create opportunities, rebuild networking and relationships between associates in the air cargo industry. He also mentioned that the ACCM committee had strived to deliver successful events in 2023. The President extended his special thanks on behalf of the committee to the participants and sponsors of Annual Ball 2024, as per a release.

Among the others who graced the occasion were Mr D. Srinivasan – Vice President, Mr P. Murugan – Secretary, Mr Anderson Robert – Joint Secretary, Mr J. Philemon Rajkumar – Treasurer, Managing Committee Members Mr S. Dhanapal, Mr M. S. Mohammed Rifai, Mr K. Suresh, Mr S. Balasubramanian and Mr C. V. Venkat Raman. Co-opted Member Mr C. Sridhar, Honorary Advisor Mr S. Suresh, Mr Arun Venkatesh and Immediate Past President Mr P. Siva Kumar were also present on the occasion.

The event was well-planned and wonderfully executed. The coordination between the committee and event management ensured that the programme started on time and adhered to the stipulated period. It had energy-packed dance performances and juggling show by a record maker, along with 36 Lucky Draws that included three airline tickets.

More than 230 participants made the event a grand success, along with their spouses and other invitees from the neighbouring air cargo clubs and trade associates. It was an evening full of fun and excitement. Members and their guests cheered the winners of the Lucky Draws.

Secretary Mr P. Murugan delivered the Vote of Thanks. Overall, the evening was well spent with loads of memories, the release highlighted.
