ACAAI’s 49th Annual Convention engrosses in Bali

The 49th Annual Convention of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) commenced with great enthusiasm on November 6, 2025 at the Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort Spa & Resort, Indonesia. The breathtaking venue and scenic charm of Bali captivated all attendees.

The inaugural session began at 6:30 pm local time with a ceremonial lamp lighting, followed by the national anthems of Indonesia and India. Mr Anil Vazirani, Convention Chairman, delivered the Welcome Address, setting the tone for the evening. This was followed by the Presidential Address by Mr Samir Shah, President of ACAAI.

Mr Lawlesh Kumar, Vice Consul General of India to Indonesia, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the deep-rooted cultural ties between India and Indonesia, emphasising their shared Hindu heritage and robust trade relations.

Mr Yukki Nugrahawan, Senior Vice President of FIATA (Indonesia), was the Guest of Honour. The keynote address was delivered by Mr Girish Vanvari of Transaction Square LLP, Mumbai along with Mr Utpal Almoula, Partner at KPMG.

The evening concluded with an engaging session where dignitaries on the dais were met with enthusiastic applause. Traditional Balinese dancers enchanted the audience, inspiring many participants to join in the celebration. The Vote of Thanks was presented by Ms Chaitaly Mehta, Honorary Secretary General of ACAAI, marking a graceful end to the inaugural day, as per a release.
