Hong Kong Air Cargo expands India footprint with dedicated Mumbai freighter launch

Hong Kong Air Cargo (HKAC) has expanded its South Asian freighter network with the launch of a dedicated cargo service operating out of Mumbai. Executed within two months of appointing Aeroprime Group as its Cargo General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) in India, the milestone operational launch aims to scale up cargo capacity and establish direct trade connectivity between key industrial hubs across East Asia and Western India. The addition of Mumbai marks HKAC’s third strategic Indian gateway alongside its existing freighter operations in Delhi and Chennai. Operating Airbus A330 freighters, the carrier’s expanded capacity provides regional exporters with direct airlift into Hong Kong as well as onward connectivity across its broader Asian, European and global network, according to a report.
