A new survey by Nexgen Exhibitions forecasts a massive 55% surge in drone deployment across India’s logistics and clean-tech sectors over the next three years. This rapid integration of aerial intelligence comes as the broader Indian logistics market is projected to nearly double, scaling from $228 billion in 2024 to $428.7 billion by 2033. The study, which surveyed 1,000 professionals across major hubs such as Mumbai and Delhi, highlights a fundamental shift: drones are transcending defence roles to become the backbone of sustainable supply chains. Around 38% of respondents cite a mix of security and logistics as the driver for adoption, while 27% point directly to the demand for faster, eco-friendly delivery. These insights come ahead of the 7th Drone International Expo, scheduled for June 24-25, 2026 at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, featuring over 200 global companies, as per a report.
