Delhi Airport, in a landmark initiative with Carico, has implemented an Automated Visitor Management System at its cargo premises, setting a new standard in cargo security. The visitor can now apply for passes online. This system, featuring advanced technologies like FRS and ANPR, is designed to expedite and secure the process of visitor management in this critical area. By reducing the issuance time for various passes and enabling online applications, the system not only enhances security but also positions Delhi Airport at the forefront of technological innovation in the transportation sector, highlighted a release.
Carico’s Visitor Management System inauguration highlights at Delhi Airport:
- The event was inaugurated by DIAL CEO Mr V. K. Jaipuriar; Mr Sanjeev Edward, ED; Mr Sudeep Lakhtakia, Head (Security & Vigilance); Mr M. Shashi Kanth, Carico MD; Mr Parvinder Singh, and other dignitaries. Key teams including DIAL, DCSC, Celebi and Carico, along with other important dignitaries, attended the meeting and successful trial run. Over 6,000 passes were issued during the trial run of the VMS.
