Hyderabad and Bengaluru airports have bagged the global second and third rank in Cirium’s on-time performance with over 84 per cent on-time departures. While Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport had 84.42% of flights arrive or depart on time or within 15 minutes of scheduled arrival or departure, Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport, too, came close at 84.08%. Kolkata’s Netaji Subhash Chandra airport was ranked ninth but in the medium airports category. Both Hyderabad and Bengaluru fall in the large airports category, as per a report.
