Scoot to restart daily Chennai operations

Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has announced the resumption of daily flights to Chennai International Airport from November, connecting Chennai and Singapore’s Changi Airport. Scoot last operated from Chennai in March 2020, before the pandemic. Apart from Chennai, the airline also operates out of five other airports in India, namely, Amritsar, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Thiruvananthapuram and Vishakhapatnam. Currently, Chennai is the only metro from where Scoot operates, said a report.
