The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) – Eastern Region held its AGM on August 18, 2023 at Holiday Express Inn – Airport Kolkata, where active members and associate members were present. This was followed by the Air Cargo Meet where representatives from airlines, Airport Terminal AAICLAS, Customs and CCHAA participated.
Office bearers were elected on the occasion. Regional Chairman Mr Shantanu Murmu – Globsync India and Hon. Secretary Mr Surajit Poddar – Poddar Air Freight took the reins from outgoing Regional Chairman Mr Amit Koley – Saila Shipping. ACAAI Vice President Mr C. K. Govil was present.
Former Regional Chairmen and industry stalwarts were felicitated – Mr Deep Gupta, Mr P. K. Sinha and industry stalwart Mr Pallav Mukherjee (PSAFL).
It was a gala meet after the Covid period, said a release.
